Lessons on the way from Prague to Prcice

Sometimes I do crazy stuff. I’ve run a marathon, made a four days bicycle trip from Prague to Moravia region, also pedalling I’ve completed the Sella Ronda circuit (Italian Alps) and, yesterday, I took a chance on Praha-Prcice walk. If you are a high sports person, you might think these challenges are not that difficult. However, for an average sportsman, like me, they are huge obstacles to overcome.

Nevertheless, there is a reason people like me face all these kinds of challenges. It is not only about adrenaline or showing off that one can do it. The most important points, in my case, are:

* to enjoy the trip, and

* to take a lesson or two out of theses activities.

About these points, I have to say most of the participants seem to be concerned only about finishing what they started. If on the one hand it shows their commitment to the final goal, which is good, on the other, it shows a missed opportunity to appreciate the most of what the present moment has to offer you. The landscape on the way from Praha to Prcice are outstanding, but only a few people stopped a bit to appreciate and take a picture of the view.
